Based in Cheshire, painting focuses on local landscapes, including hills, mountains, lakes, coastlines, and architecture. Work is produced either plein-air or in a studio using various media: watercolour, oils, acrylics, gouache, and charcoal.
Artwork is exhibited at local galleries and exhibitions.
Painting experience began under the guidance of my Grandmother Kathleen Wild at an early age. Membership includes the Altrincham Society of Artists (ASA), with participation as a “Wildcard” artist on Sky Arts LAOTY. In 2025, the Clark Art award was received for the acrylic painting “Sarah’s Blue Trousers,” which recognises work capturing the spirit of Northern Art in any medium.
